Hip hop production tips
Typical tempo: 80–100 BPM (or 140–160 at half time). Hip hop drums need punch: layer a short kick with a sub, put the snare on 2 and 4, and add ghost notes and percussion for movement.
Can I use these sounds in my songs?
Free packs are usually royalty-free for use in your own beats and songs, but each creator sets their own terms. Read the licence or “read me” file inside the download before releasing music commercially, and never resell or share the sounds as your own pack.
