How to tune

  1. Choose your instrument above, then tap Start tuner and allow the microphone when your browser asks.
  2. Play one string at a time and let it ring. Keep other strings quiet.
  3. If the needle leans left (♭), the string is too low: tighten it a little. If it leans right (♯), loosen it.
  4. When the note turns green and says In tune, move to the next string.

No microphone, or it was blocked? Tap a string button to hear the right note and match it by ear. To allow the microphone later, tap the icon beside the address bar and choose Allow.

In tune and ready? Practise in time with the free metronome, or find your next song in chords.
