Boom bap production tips
Typical tempo: 85–95 BPM. Boom bap relies on hard, dusty kicks and snares with plenty of swing. Chop soul or jazz samples, compress the drum bus hard, and keep the hi-hats loose.
Can I use these sounds in my songs?
Free packs are usually royalty-free for use in your own beats and songs, but each creator sets their own terms. Read the licence or “read me” file inside the download before releasing music commercially, and never resell or share the sounds as your own pack.
