This page explains what Yalle Media stores on your device, why, and how you can change your choice at any time.
We keep this to a minimum. Most of what we store is there because you asked for it: the key you transposed a song to, the songs you saved, the songs you played recently. None of it leaves your device, and none of it needs an account.
Your choice
When you first visit, a small notice at the bottom of the page tells you that we use cookies. By tapping OK or continuing to browse (using the page or opening another one), you agree to the necessary storage below plus the optional analytics and advertising cookies.
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first instead, and nothing optional is used until you choose. When ads are shown there, Google's own consent message asks about advertising.
Wherever you are, you can choose at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page:
- Accept all: the necessary storage below, plus Google Analytics cookies (and, when ads are shown, personalised ads).
- Necessary only: just the storage the site needs to work and to remember your settings. Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only anonymous signals that cannot identify you; any ads you see are not personalised.
Necessary storage (always on)
These items live in your browser's local storage, on your device only. We cannot read them from our side, and they are never shared.

Site staff who sign in to our admin area also get two cookies, ym_admin (the signed-in session) and ym_device (a remembered device, so sign-in is quicker). Visitors never receive these.
Optional cookies: analytics and advertising
Google Analytics runs in Google's Consent Mode. Until you agree (by browsing on, or with “Accept all”) it stores nothing on your device and sends only anonymous, cookieless signals (such as “a page was viewed”), which Google uses to estimate overall visit numbers. Agreeing turns on the cookies below; “Necessary only” in Cookie settings turns them off again.

Videos
Some songs have a YouTube video. It loads only when you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com). Until then, nothing from YouTube is loaded.
How to remove what we store
- Open Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and choose again.
- Clear your recent and saved songs from My songs.
- Clear this site's data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy, then Site data). This removes everything listed above.
