How to play Help Us To Love: key, chords and progression

Help Us To Love by Tori Kelly keeps coming home to F major (one flat: B♭). You need 19 chords: C, C7+, C7, F, G7, G, E, Am, Bb, Gm7, Em and Dm and 7 more.

Most of the song cycles through C – C7+ – C7 – F (V – V7 – V7 – I in F major). In solfa, that is soh – soh – soh – doh. Get these 4 changes smooth and the rest comes quickly.

Good to know: F, Bb, Gm7, Bbmaj7 and Fm7 are played as barre or movable shapes on guitar. Practise the change into them slowly; on piano and ukulele the same chords are easier.
