How to play For Now And Always: key, chords and progression

For Now And Always by Ryan Jacobson is centred on C major (no sharps or flats). The song uses 11 chords: Em, G, Am, C, Em7, Bm7, F, C7, Fm, Dm and G7.

Listen for Em – G – Am – C (iii – V – vi – I in C major): the song comes back to it again and again. In solfa, that is mi – soh – lah – doh. Once these 4 changes are comfortable, most of the song is done.

Good to know: Bm7, F and Fm are the tricky part on guitar (barre or movable shapes). Slow the change down until it is clean; on piano and ukulele they are simpler.
