How to play How I Get: key, chords and progression

These are How I Get chords by Laufey for Piano and Ukulele.

How I Get by Laufey is in the key of A minor (no sharps or flats). The song uses 10 chords: C, E/C, Am/C, C7, Dm13, G13(add4, Cmaj7, Am9, Dm11 and Am.

The backbone of the song is C – E/C – Am/C – E/C (III – V – i – V in A minor). Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Good to know: on guitar, Am9 and Dm11 need a barre or movable shape. Take the change into them slowly at first; piano and ukulele players have it easier.
