[Intro]
D#m C# G#m B (x5)

[Verse 1]
D#m C# G#m
How can I be your black hole and
              B
your favorite constellation?
D#m C# G#m
While sometimes be depressed to
                 B
death and living on vacation
D#m C# G#m
I'll divide my time between me,
myself,
                 B
and I and all my expectations
D#m
Cause, motherfucker,
       C#
I look good today
     G#m
Self-care, green hair,
        B
looking cute today

[Pre-Chorus]
D#m
Hello to the fandom
             C#
Please don't have a tantrum
                           G#m
Cause if this here ain’t a stick up
             B
Why do I got both my
            D#m
hands up praying?
               C#
I'm just saying
              G#m
You're either dying
   N.C
Or you're playing
Either way I'm in the conversation
(Woo!)

[Chorus]
D#m C# G#m B
           You only like me
                    D#m
           when I'm numb
C# G#m B
You only like mе when I'm
D#m C#
Now I'm mad about—I don't know what
G#m B
All I know is that this isn't fun
D#m C#
The more I wrap myself up
G#m B
Thе more I'm coming undone
D#m C#
Now I'm mad about—I don't know what
G#m B
All I know is that this
          D#m C# G#m
isn't love
         B
You only like me when I'm numb

                    B
Because you hate to laugh
                    D#m
You're too cool for me

How to play Numb: key, chords and progression

These are the chords for Numb by Waterparks on Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, and Keyboard

Numb by Waterparks sits in E♭ minor (six sharps: F♯, C♯, G♯, D♯, A♯, E♯), and you need 4 chords to play it: D#m, C#, G#m and B.

The backbone of the song is D#m – C# – G#m – B (i – VII – iv – VI in E♭ minor). Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Easier on guitar: put a capo on the 4th fret and play the shapes Bm, A, Em, G (75% of the chords become easy open shapes, against 0% without a capo). It sounds exactly the same.
