How to play We Had A Dream: key, chords and progression

To play We Had A Dream by The Kelly Family, think in B minor (two sharps: F♯, C♯). It takes 3 chords: Bm, G and A.

Most of the song cycles through Bm – G – A – Bm (i – VI – VII – i in B minor). Get these 4 changes smooth and the rest comes quickly.

Easier on guitar: put a capo on the 7th fret and play the shapes Em, C, D (100% of the chords become easy open shapes, against 67% without a capo). It sounds exactly the same.
