How to play Al Ponerse El Sol: key, chords and progression

These are the chords for Al Ponerse El Sol by STAY HOMAS on Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, and Keyboard

Al Ponerse El Sol by STAY HOMAS sits in A major (three sharps: F♯, C♯, G♯), and you need 16 chords to play it: Aadd9, Dm, Bm6/G#, C#7b9, F#m, F#m6/D#, Dmaj7, C#m7, Cmaj7, Bm7, E9sus4 and Cm7 and 4 more.

Listen for Aadd9 – E9sus4 – Aadd9 – Dm (Iadd9 – V7 – Iadd9 – iv in A major): the song comes back to it again and again. In solfa, that is doh – soh – doh – fah. Once these 4 changes are comfortable, most of the song is done.

Good to know: on guitar, Aadd9, Bm6/G#, C#7b9, F#m and F#m6/D# need a barre or movable shape. Take the change into them slowly at first; piano and ukulele players have it easier.
