[Intro]
Em

[Verse]
Em G6/E Aadd9
A man decides after seventy years, that what he goes there for, is to unlock the door
Em G6/E Aadd9
While those around him criticize and sleep
Em G6/E Aadd9
And through a fractal on a breaking wall I see you my friend, and touch your face again
Em G6/E Aadd9
Miracles will happen as we trip

[Chorus]
Cmaj7 G6 Dsus2 Asus2
But we’re never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy
Cmaj7 G6 Dsus2 Asus2 .
No we’re never gonna survive, unless we are a little crazy

[Verse]
Em G6/E Aadd9
Yellow people walking through my head, one of them’s got a gun to shoot the other one
Em G6/E Aadd9
And yet together they were friends at school
Em G6/E Aadd9
If all were there when we first took the pill, then maybe maybe maybe maybe
Em G6/E Aadd9
Miracles will happen as we speak

[Chorus]
Cmaj7 G6 Dsus2 Asus2
But we’re never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy
Cmaj7 G6 Dsus2 Asus2
No we’re never gonna survive, unless we are a little….. crazy
Em G6/E Aadd9
Cmaj7 G6 Dsus2 Asus2
Oh no, we’ll never survive unless we get a little bit crazy
Cmaj7 G6 Dsus2 Asus2
No, no no we’ll never survive unless we get a little bit….

[Outro]
Em G6/E Aadd9
In a sky full of people
Em G6/E Aadd9
In a world full of people
Em G6/E Aadd9
In a heavenful of people
Em G6/E Aadd9
In a sky full of people there’s only some want to fly, isn’t that crazy
Em
Crazy, crazy…. yeah…

How to play Crazy: key, chords and progression

Crazy by Seal sits in D major (two sharps: F♯, C♯), and you need 7 chords to play it: Em, G6/E, Aadd9, Cmaj7, G6, Dsus2 and Asus2.

The progression the song keeps returning to is Em – G6/E – Aadd9 – Em (ii – IV6 – Vadd9 – ii in D major). In solfa, that is reh – fah – soh – reh. Learn these 4 changes first and most of the song falls into place.

Good to know: G6/E, Aadd9 and G6 are the tricky part on guitar (barre or movable shapes). Slow the change down until it is clean; on piano and ukulele they are simpler.
