How to play You Keep On Getting Better: key, chords and progression

You Keep On Getting Better by Maverick City Music is centred on G major (one sharp: F♯). The song uses 4 chords: C, G, Bm and A.

The progression the song keeps returning to is G – C – G – Bm (I – IV – I – iii in G major). In solfa, that is doh – fah – doh – mi. Learn these 4 changes first and most of the song falls into place.

Good to know: Bm is played as barre or movable shapes on guitar. Practise the change into it slowly; on piano and ukulele the same chords are easier.
