[Intro]
E F#7 Asus2 E Esus4 E

[Verse 1]
E
 I threw away my phone
F# A
Cuz I don't want to talk
                  E
 to anybody these days
E
 I should probably go home
           F#
and see my friends
I ain't seen the pine trees
                 A
since last Christmas
And I'll be damned
              E
if the summer rain goes
           F# Asus2
I wanna go home, take me home

[Chorus]
        E
Tell me why I'm feeling this way
         F#7
Hometown hero without the cape
       Asus2
Just a poor motherfucker that
                       E
grew up on yellow bush road
Esus4 E
My grandparents still
look at me the same
           F#7
And I feel bad when
I tell em I'm okay
         Asus2
Yeah the people in this
                   E
town seems too far gone
         A
Well I'm better than most
    G#m F#7
but worse than others I'd say
        A G#m
And I'm way to
F# G#m E
blessed to bitch today
F#7 Asus2 E Esus4

[Verse 2]
E
 Havin' trouble just tryin
              F#
 to clear my head
I try to drink but that
                   Asus2
shit don't work instead
                            E
Keep telling myself that it helps
                   Esus4
but it really don't
E
 And everything I ever wanted
F#
Is in the palm of my hand
       Asus2
But if trash is treasure than I'd
              E
be obliged to give it to another man

[Chorus]
Esus4 E
Tell me why I'm feeling this way
         F#7
Hometown hero without the cape
       Asus2
Just a poor motherfucker that
                       E
grew up on yellow bush road
  Esus4 E
I talk to my family they
got nothin to say
             F#7
They tell me everyone's okay
          Asus2
They just hated the fact
                       E
that I'm cussin on the radio
         A
Well I'm better than most
    G#m F#
but worse than others I'd say
        A G#m
And I'm way to
F# G#m E
blessed to bitch today
F#7 Asus2 E Esus4 E

to bitch today
