How to play Alone Omens: key, chords and progression

Alone Omens by King Krule is built around F major (one flat: B♭), with 6 chords in all: Cmaj7, A7, A#maj7, F#maj7, Fmaj7 and Em.

The progression the song keeps returning to is Cmaj7 – A7 – A#maj7 – F#maj7 (Vmaj7 – III7 – IVmaj7 – ♭IImaj7 in F major). Learn these 4 changes first and most of the song falls into place.

Good to know: A#maj7 and F#maj7 are the tricky part on guitar (barre or movable shapes). Slow the change down until it is clean; on piano and ukulele they are simpler.
