How to play Beg: key, chords and progression

Beg by Jack & Jack feat. Olivier O’brien is built around G major (one sharp: F♯), with 3 chords in all: G, C and A.

Listen for C – G – A – C (IV – I – II – IV in G major): the song comes back to it again and again. In solfa, that is fah – doh – reh – fah. Once these 4 changes are comfortable, most of the song is done.

Beginner-friendly: every chord here is an open shape on guitar: no capo, no barre chords needed.
