How to play Pro Memoria: key, chords and progression

Pro Memoria by Ghost is centred on A minor (no sharps or flats). The song uses 7 chords: Am, D, C, G, Dm, F and A.

Listen for Am – D – Am – C (i – IV – i – III in A minor): the song comes back to it again and again. Once these 4 changes are comfortable, most of the song is done.

Beginner-friendly: almost every chord here is an open shape on guitar: no capo, no barre chords needed.
