How to play Zombie: key, chords and progression

Zombie by DAY6 keeps coming home to C major (no sharps or flats). You need 13 chords: C, G/B, F, Em, Dm, Am, G, Em7, F#, C#, G#/C and Fm and 1 more.

The backbone of the song is C – G/B – F – Em (I – V – IV – iii in C major). In solfa, that is doh – soh – fah – mi. Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Good to know: F, F#, C#, G#/C and Fm are played as barre or movable shapes on guitar. Practise the change into them slowly; on piano and ukulele the same chords are easier.
