How to play Anti-Curse: key, chords and progression

Anti-Curse by boygenius is centred on G major (one sharp: F♯). The song uses 6 chords: G, C, Em, Am, D and A.

The progression the song keeps returning to is C – G – C – Em (IV – I – IV – vi in G major). In solfa, that is fah – doh – fah – lah. Learn these 4 changes first and most of the song falls into place.

Beginner-friendly: every chord is an open chord on guitar, so you can play it without a capo or barre chords.
