How to play I Don’t Know How But They Found Me: key, chords and progression

I Don’t Know How But They Found Me by Bleed Magic sits in D minor (one flat: B♭), and you need 7 chords to play it: Dm, C, Bb, F, A7, Am and B.

Most of the song cycles through Dm – C – Bb – C (i – VII – VI – VII in D minor), a minor “Aeolian” loop common in rock and Afrobeats. Get these 4 changes smooth and the rest comes quickly.

Good to know: Bb, F and B are played as barre or movable shapes on guitar. Practise the change into them slowly; on piano and ukulele the same chords are easier.
