Could make it over
these walls,
Am
Why is everything
 so hard,

Where's my money,
where’s my star?
Em
Tell me what I aim
 to be and,

And give me give

How to play Personal: key, chords and progression

Personal by Anima! is centred on E minor (one sharp: F♯). The song uses 9 chords: C, Em, Am, G/B, D/F#, G, D, B7 and Am7.

The backbone of the song is Am – Em – G – Am (iv – i – III – iv in E minor). Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Beginner-friendly: every chord is an open chord on guitar, so you can play it without a capo or barre chords.
