C F
Just a notion, that's all

How to play Just A Notion: key, chords and progression

These are the chords for Just A Notion by ABBA on Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, and Keyboard

Just A Notion by ABBA keeps coming home to C major (no sharps or flats). You need 11 chords: Dm, G, C, F, E, Am, Em/B, A7, F#dim7, D7/F# and D.

The backbone of the song is G – C – F – G (V – I – IV – V in C major). In solfa, that is soh – doh – fah – soh. Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Beginner-friendly: on guitar almost every chord is an open shape, which makes this a good song to learn early on.
