How to download and use it

Click the download link above (it opens Mediafire.com) and save the file.
Open the .rar with 7-Zip (Windows) or The Unarchiver (Mac), and extract it to a folder you keep for samples.
FL Studio: Options → File settings → add the folder under “Browser extra search folders”; the sounds appear in the Browser.
Ableton Live: in the Browser, click “Add Folder…” under Places and pick the folder.
Logic Pro: drag a sound onto a Quick Sampler or Drum Machine Designer pad; drag loops straight onto a track.

Retro and 8-bit production tips

Typical tempo: 100–140 BPM. Retro sounds work best with simple square and triangle-wave melodies, arpeggios and gated reverb on the snare.

Can I use these sounds in my songs?

Free packs are usually royalty-free for use in your own beats and songs, but each creator sets their own terms. Read the licence or “read me” file inside the download before releasing music commercially, and never resell or share the sounds as your own pack.
