How to play Shelter: key, chords and progression

Shelter by FINNEAS is written in B minor (two sharps: F♯, C♯) and moves through 3 chords: Bm, G and A.

The backbone of the song is Bm – G – A – Bm (i – VI – VII – i in B minor). Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Easier on guitar: put a capo on the 7th fret and play the shapes Em, C, D (100% of the chords become easy open shapes, against 67% without a capo). It sounds exactly the same.
