las hora más felices de mi amor, fueron contigo,

tus labios me enseñaron a sentir, lo que es ternura,
Dm G7 Dm G7 C Am Dm G7
y no me cansaré de bendecir tanta dulzura.

[Verse 3]

y qué viste después? Sangre en mis labios.

son de impasible corazón de roca,

yo te enseñé a besar con besos míos
Dm G7 Dm G7 C
inventados por mí, para tu boca.

Am Dm G7 C

How to play Contigo: key, chords and progression

Contigo by Claudio Estrada is in the key of C major (no sharps or flats). The song uses 10 chords: C, Em, Am, Dm, G7, Gdim/E, Ebm, C7, F and Fm.

The progression the song keeps returning to is G7 – Dm – G7 – C (V7 – ii – V7 – I in C major). In solfa, that is soh – reh – soh – doh. Learn these 4 changes first and most of the song falls into place.

Good to know: Gdim/E, Ebm, F and Fm are played as barre or movable shapes on guitar. Practise the change into them slowly; on piano and ukulele the same chords are easier.
