How to play God Knows Must Be Love: key, chords and progression

God Knows Must Be Love by Andrew Ripp keeps coming home to F major (one flat: B♭). You need 3 chords: F, Bb and Gm.

The backbone of the song is F – Bb – F – Gm (I – IV – I – ii in F major). In solfa, that is doh – fah – doh – reh. Practise these 4 changes until they feel natural and you can play most of it.

Easier on guitar: put a capo on the 3rd fret and play the shapes D, G, Em (100% of the chords become easy open shapes, against 0% without a capo). It sounds exactly the same.
