Em
In this town a girl like me
      Am
ain't got nowhere to go
    Em
Without my mama finding out
         Am Em
before I even get back home
      Em
I can hide out in the bleachers
    Am
but I don't play those games
      Em
If I partied at the trailer park
          Am Em
well I'd wreck my family name
        Em Am
So I'd take a ride off 55 down
a gravel road
 Em
Pulled up to a shady spot
      Am B7
where no one thinks to go

In the back of that Baptist parking

lot in the bed of his Chevrolet

Pass the bottle, take a shot,

wash our sins away
        Am
It's a little white lie no
one's ever gonnaa find
 Em
Just across the county line
 Am
Making the most of what we got
